Hours:
  • Required to work 40 hours per week within the limits of the Indiana State Summer Work-Study Program.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays.
Requirements:
  • The college student must certify that he/she has received and used a Higher Education Award (HEA), and/or 21st Century Scholarship during the 2012-2013 academic year.
  • Will not graduate at the end of the 2013-2014 fall semester or quarter.
  • Will enroll as an undergraduate student during 2013-2014 academic year.
  • Required to have excellent customer service attitude and manner.
  • Personal or public transportation must be used to reach library locations.
  • Drug testing and criminal history record check are required as a condition of employment. Any offer of employment is subject to the applicant passing a drug-screening test and criminal history record check.

Job Statement:

The Student Work Study Clerk will assist in clerical duties; assist patrons with basic use of library’s public computers, reservation process, print management and photocopiers; assist with the Summer Reading Programs, as well as special programs; and other general library tasks as needed.  Assignments and projects may vary from department or branch and may change as the summer progresses.
