As you hopefully know, 2012 is the 30th anniversary of the legendary Air Force 1. To celebrate, Nike has been coming out with amazing pair after amazing pair. I want to take a further look today at the Year of the Dragon AF1 II. Yes, Nike already came out with an earlier pair, so these are version two. :)
The shoes are striking, to put it mildly. The side panels and toe box are covered in a red, textured material that resembles scales. The trademark swoosh is bright gold. The soles are a tinted blue but clear, and the tongue has a great detailed picture of a dragon’s face and head. The shoes are just phenomenal.
They came out a few weeks ago and retailed for $200 as a quickstrike release. They were very limited, and I am still on the lookout for a pair to add to my collection. I hope you enjoy the images and see a pair out and about soon.
